Ferro Bench No. 4

The fourth in a run the city commissioned for the rail depot. The ends are gray iron, sand-cast from a machined aluminum pattern so every bench in the series is identical to a sixteenth of an inch. The wood is local tamarack, bolted from beneath so there is nothing on top to catch a coat or a knee. Iron was chosen for a simple reason: it will still be there when the plans for the park have been redrawn twice over.
